In today’s Gospel Reading, we find another reference to a person Lazarus. This time, he is a fictional persona of one of Jesus’s many parables. In the parable Lazarus is an unfortunate character who is poor and perhaps has some sort of ailment. When in fact, we should see Lazarus in a different light. Note that this blog was posted awhile back but I forgot to click “publish”, so the publish date does not match the actual Gospel reading – sorry about that.
